Frost

Felt I wanted to share this tree , frozen , cold, beautiful in it’s frost covered branches, standing in the evening darkness, highlighted by the street light, and I’ve been wondering what it is I like so much about it. Something about the ability to be unchanged by the ice that encases it, enhanced by the cold frost thats covered every single part of it, still standing strong, frozen in time, not changed in structure by the exterior invasion. And then I wonder about the particles of frost , how they cling on in their intricate and dazzling beauty, yet not free to chose their existence , only formed and surviving by the temperature they exist in ... their being so fragile, gone in a moment of warmth. And then I wonder about the relationship between the tree and the frost and the air they both depend on ... nature doing it’s thing ... how totally fascinating it is
