Where photography meets therapy

There is something for me about image, about the moment I experience in the capturing of an image, in that split second I see something, I feel something, I have an emotional reaction to the moment of experiencing and in capturing that moment and freezing it in time I take control of it and make it my own, and this I find to be therapeutic.

For me that capturing and keeping of the image as I saw and experienced it in that moment is the key, I tend to keep my images as originally taken, without enhancement, for that would then change something, that would be another moment.

Then the best bit is when I view the image, I am back in that original moment, a felt moment captured for all time, to be relived when ever I choose.
