I have just heard Nina Simone talking on an old archived radio show. What a woman ... the simplicity of this she said struck me, and yet the enormity to. No fear, to never feel fear, just imagine what might that be like. Free to be me! Free to be the person I want... to feel acceptance of myself. She went on to talk about the energy we use trying to be someone others want us to be, this is something I think about a lot, the energy spent trying to be other than myself, wow if I could put all that in to just being me....
